Avocado Lime Dressing Recipe oil-free salad dressing

Mexican Avocado Lime Dressing

A delicious, oil-free dressing using avocado as a creamy base.
Course Salad
Cuisine Mexican
Servings 4 TBSPs


  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Ripe avocado
  • 1 tsp Fresh minced cilantro
  • dash to taste Cayenne pepper
  • dash to taste Sea salt (less is better) leave out if you have high blood pressure


  • Mash everything together in a small bowl with a fork until you reach your desired consistency.


TIP: Mash it together in your salad bowl and prepare you salad on top of the dressing after to save on dishes and making the clean-up easier.
ALTERNATIVE: Use a mini food processor or a hand held immersion blender if you want to make a larger quantity when you want more servings.
